We continued walking. Talking. Having a good time. It is nice not having an agenda. Strolling. Talking. Stopping for a cup of coffee on a cool afternoon. People watching. Lots & lots of people watching!
Isn't this simply the most awesome door? The colors. Lines. Detail. I LOVE it! And that poster!!!
I want to think these fellows were looking to find yarn to do a knitting project. But, the more likely scenario would be they were waiting for their wife/mother to come out of the shop.
Drew wanted me to capture this lady. He thought she was a local the way she was speaking with the carriage driver. I turned and snapped two pictures, basically off the hip.
I was on a door, French word spree. With an occasional window thrown in for good measure. It was a mission.
Our waiter at the Café du Monde. A little afternoon café au lait and its French-style beignets.
People. People. This street was overflowing with people.
And the street performers were on every street corner. This one was most interesting.
I probably could of just stood and took photos of this door and all the people that walked past it. Wonderful doorway. Wonderful people.
Friends dining. In deep conversation...
New Orleans is not short on glitz. Or glamour.
Have you noticed that I love street photography? Well. I do.
I love the simplicity of the Christmas decoration. And the blue walls.
Drew had to hold me up to keep me from falling over...I was shooting straight up. And it made me dizzy.
Last shot as we were going up to our room for a bit before setting out for the evening.
